WHO WE ARE
Momentum Ministries is all about Spiritual Momentum! After 30 years in the pastoral ministry, Pastor Scott felt the burden to expand his daily devotional ministry into other areas of writing. He is available to preach in various settings. Prayer and one-on-one spiritual friendship is also a vital part of his vision. We urge you to keep moving forward!
Momentum Ministries is a registered non-profit in the state of Ohio with IRS 501(c)(3) status. Operations are located in OH, SC, and MI, but we are available for preaching throughout the US and Canada and will consider overseas assignment. While not officially connected to the Church of the Nazarene, Momentum is led by Scott Wade, a Nazarene elder.

Meet Scott
Scott Wade was saved as a young teenager in a small church in rural NW Ohio. Scott testifies, “I was born again in a church that was experiencing a revival spirit that continued all through my teen years. I still believe in revival!” While attending Mount Vernon (Ohio) Nazarene College, Scott met his future wife, Lana Moore, a beautiful coed from West Virginia. Scott and Lana have been married over 45 years and have seen their family grow to include three daughters and their husbands along with 12 grandchildren.
Scott and Lana served together in pastoral ministry for twenty-nine years before feeling led by the Lord to “get out of the boat” and begin Momentum Ministries to “Help individuals, groups and churches attain, maintain, and regain spiritual momentum.”
After serving as lead pastor in six local churches, Scott transitioned to South Carolina where he served five different congregations in the role of interim pastor. Scott is currently an active evangelist, traveling to preach the gospel in churches, for camps, at special events, and on the mission field.
Scott has published 9 books: The Climb: Start Here; The Climb: Stay Focused; The Climb: Stick with It; The Climb: Stretch Yourself; The Climb: Stand Tall; Christmas with Luke; Christmas with Matthew; Start Climbing with Mark; Proverbs: Wisdom for the Way. He has also partnered with two authors to publish their books. Scott has also published 2 prayer guides: P.R.A.Y. - to help Christians pray the Lord’s Prayer and How Revival Must Come - a guide to help churches pray for revival.
Scott’s passion is to encourage people to be “doers of the word.” Whether writing or preaching, training or teaching, praying or encouraging - Scott depends on the Bible as his sourcebook and the Spirit as his power source.
Contact Scott through Momentum Ministries to discover how you or your organization can partner with him to bring spiritual momentum to your church or organization.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
"...help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the
blessing granted us through the prayers of many." (2 Corinthians 1.11)
WE BELIEVE in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE that human beings are born with a fallen nature, and are, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
WE BELIEVE that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
WE BELIEVE that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
WE BELIEVE that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
WE BELIEVE that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
